Learn to Climb and Belay is the essential course for the first climber and for beginners, the prerequisite to earning an accreditation at Allez Up.
Learn all about knot-tying, proper belaying, equipment use, safety, and some basic climbing techniques. The price includes equipment rental on the day of the course, accreditation, as well as the entry fee for your climb on the day you do the test*. (Equipment rental is not included on the day of the test).
Accreditation is granted upon the successful completion of a test (at no additional charge if the student returns to Allez Up to take the accreditation test within the two weeks following his or her course)
Offered from Monday to Friday at 7:00 pm by advance reservation, or on weekends at 9:30 am. Call to reserve 514 989-9656. Places are limited.
Participation in all courses is by reservation only and subject to signature of a Liability Waiver.
* To be eligible for the free entry, you must successfully pass the test 2 weeks of having taken the course. The free entry on the day of your test is non-transferable. It is valid only on the day of your test: if you choose not to climb on the day of your test, you cannot use the free climb on another day. Equipment rental is not included in the free pass.
