Our AUGUST hours are:
Hours: Monday to Friday : 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Day pass is $9 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. weekdays.

We are currently hiring part time employees for the following positions:

Reception : Dynamic and welcoming personality, must be able to pass the top rope belay test at Allez Up (or have already done so).

Group animator : Dynamic and welcoming personality, must be able to pass the top rope belay test at Allez Up (or have already done so).

Monitor (teaching position): Dynamic and welcoming personality, with many years of climbing experience. Must be able to pass the top rope and lead tests at Allez Up (or have already done so).

Essential to all positions: Bilingualism, weekend availabilities.

We would like to say THANK YOU to all the people who volunteered their time during the Tour de Bloc Nationals. It takes MANY volunteers to organize an event of this size. Everyone who worked GAVE their time: setters, judges, those who assisted the competitors, the ‘vendors’. We truly could not have done this without your help. THANK YOU!

Power Cut

We have been advised at this late hour that the building management are cutting power to the entire building on Wednesday May 20th an Thursday May 21st at 7:30pm. Therefore, Allez Up is forced to close early.

Tour de Bloc - Nationals

May 4th, 2009

The Tour de Bloc Nationals will be taking place at Allez Up on May 16th and 17th 2009. For this reason, we must modify our business hours for that weekend:

Friday May 15th: CLOSED to everyone - competition prep.

Saturday May 16th: CLOSED (spectators are welcome as of 10 am)

Sunday May 17th: CLOSED (spectators are welcome as of 9 am)

Lundi 18 mai :5pm to 10pm

You can still register at www.tourdebloc.com. Register soon if you want a t-shirt!!!

CLIMBERS OF ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! COME TRY IT OUT.

The categories for the comp are the following (they will be divided in M/W) :

* Junior
* Recreational
* Exprienced
* Open

We are still looking for volunteers to give us a hand, on May 16th, 17th and 18th 2009 for the Tour de Bloc National championship at Allez Up.

Redpath Silos.

GREAT NEWS!!!!
ALLEZ UP is pleased to announce that we have acquired the historic Redpath Silos, just down the street from our present location. It is our intention to build a new climbing gym on the property, integrating the silos into the facility. This project will take a couple of years to complete and we will keep you informed of our progress!
