Lead Belay/Falls workshop
We have 2 sessions available: Saturday, March 11th at 4pm and at 6pm.
This 90 minute workshop is for lead climbers (accreditation mandatory) who would like to become more comfortable catching a dynamic fall as well as for those who experience a fear of falling.
This workshop will give you the opportunity to practice catching dynamic falls and fallingin a safe context and under the supervision of an accredited instructor.
Cost: $20 + tax per person

Injury Prevention Workshop
Monday March 13th, 7:00pm, in the silo
The workshop will be run by James Rouzier, pht. M.Sc, physiotherapist at Kinatex Sports Physio at Gare Centrale. He has a level 4 in manual therapy and a masters in physiotherapy at l'Université de Montréal.
The workshop will cover the following:
· What injury risks are there in climbing
· What are the most common injuries in climbing and how to prevent them
· What to do in case of an injury
· A warm-up demonstration that participants will be able to execute under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
There are no additional costs other than access to the gym. 30 spots available. Participants must pre-register up for the workshop by going to reception or calling the gym.
