A BOULDER COMP FOR EVERYONE

This comp follows a Scramble format focused on fun and accessibility for all levels. There are no categories for this competition.

The Scramble consists of 20 problems to climb:

  • from the "easiest" (block #1 – yellow tape, V0) gradually increasing in difficulty to
  • the "most challenging" (block #20 – white tape, V8 and above)

No isolation, time limits, or restrictions on attempts – everyone can climb at their own pace.

There will be 3 qualification waves, each lasting 2 hours. The 1st wave is open to everyone, while the 2nd and 3rd waves are reserved for students (Cégep included).

Please arrive between 1 hour and 30 minutes before the start of your session. It is essential to attend the technical meeting!

  • send on your third try or more, you lose 9 points on the flash.

Your best 6 problems will count towards your final score.

THE FINALS

The top 12 competitors (6 women / 6 men) will enter the finals. Rankings will be determined by the highest number of tops achieved with the fewest attempts.

The final will take the form of a Rush and will proceed as follows: 4 groups of 3 climbers (2x3 women / 2x3 men), 4 blocks, 6 minutes per block. As in the qualifications, climbers will aim to complete as many sends as possible with the fewest attempts to win 1st place and Allez Up prizes.

The Rush format ensures an action-packed final, where every attempt counts and the intensity is pushed to the maximum.
