TRY BOULDERING


Bouldering is a discipline of rock climbing that does not involve ropes. The walls are much smaller and climbers fall on mats instead of being attached to ropes.

A course is not required to boulder at Allez Up, so it's a great way to try climbing for the first time. 

LEARN BASICS - BOULDERING 101


Just starting to boulder? We recommend the Bouldering 101 courses. It will allows you to learn the basic techniques and terminology of bouldering.

*A Bouldering 101 course includes 7 days of unlimited climbing and bouldering equipment rental during that time!

Once you have learned the basics of bouldering, it's time to start getting some mileage in! We have membership options for all budgets and for every level of commitment.

THE RULES


GENERAL

  1. 1/ Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times in the gym.
  2. 2/ It is forbidden to use our facilities while under the influence of any form of substance that alters the alertness of participants.
  3. 3/ The potential fall zone for each climber must be kept clear. Waiting for your turn and moving around the center must be done outside the mattresses.
  • Code of conduct:
  • *Be attentive: clean and tidy the space you use,
  • *Be fair: don't hog the wall,
  • *Be courteous: no aggressive behavior,
  • *Be respectful: no inappropriate behavior or sexual harassment will be tolerated,
  • *Be tolerant: no rascism.

YOUTH

  • *The minimum age for autonomy is 14.
  • *Supervision of children aged 13 and under is mandatory, with a maxiumum ratio of 2 children to 1 adult [2:1].
  • *You must be at least 18 yo to supervise a child aged 13 and under.
  • *At a ratio of [2:1], the supervising adult can not climb and must always remain close to the children (2 meters from the ground).
  • *You must be 14 or older to access the training area.
  • *Babies are welcome, provided they remain in a stroller, shell or held in the arms.

Comfortable loose or flexible clothing is most recommended. You can wear a closed, clean and dry shoe instead of the climbing shoes. Long hair must be tied back.

A waiver must be signed for each climber. For climbers under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign. All waivers will need to be renewed every 3 years. You can fill out your waiver online or at the gym.

ONLINE WAIVER

On-street parking (paying) is available around the gym. Bicycle racks are available. Rosemont metro station is a mere 8 minutes walk.

You can bring children, but they must be supervised by an adult at all times. Please note that while we welcome children, certain conditions may apply. We encourage you to call us at 514-989-9656 to find out whether you can bring your children.

Unfortunately we do not host birthday parties.
